Eva Tilling wakes up in the hospital to discover an attempt has been made on her life. But who in her sleepy town could have hit her with their car? And why? Before she can consider the question, she finds that she's awoken with a strange new skill: the ability to foresee people's deaths when they touch her.
While she is recovering from the hit-and-run, Nate, an old friend, reappears, and the two must traverse their rocky past as they figure out how to use Eva's power to keep her friends -
and themselves – alive. But the killer is obsessed and will stop at nothing to get to Eva…

3/5 stars
Eva
Tilling is the most popular girl in Jessup. She has a boyfriend and, although
she wishes things were different in a town where people are judged by their
social standing, she lives a normal life.
Then Eva
wakes up in hospital seriously injured after being hit by a car.
When
another girl is involved in a car crash, Eva begins to think that what happened
to her wasn't an accident.
The
killer seems to be obsessed with Eva and she uses her new-found ability to see
peoples' deaths by touching them to try and save her friends from dying.
Meanwhile
Eva rekindles her friendship with Nate her former best friend.
Who is
the killer? Can he be stopped?
Made for
You was an enjoyable but creepy read.
The
chapters are told from three points of view - Eva, her best friend Grace and
'Judge' the killer who is obsessed with Eva. Eva and Grace were both likeable
and I thought Eva was very strong after the accident - she could easily have
fallen apart but she didn't. 'Judge's' chapters were really creepy. It was
interesting to see his motives but he was seriously disturbed and I kind of
dreaded reading his thoughts.
I liked
the paranormal element and was glad that it didn't take up a huge part of the
book.
The plot
was good but nothing shocking happened. I liked the writing style and it held
my attention.
The
romance was good but I did feel like Eva and Nate went from not talking to
kissing very quickly.
Overall
this was an enjoyable read with a creepy twist.
