Blurb from Goodreads:

It's been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain.

When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back...

My Review:

4/5 stars

Six weeks ago angels came to Earth. They brought havoc and destruction.
Penryn is doing everything she can to keep her mother and younger, disabled sister Paige safe.
Then an angel takes Paige and Penryn will do whatever it takes to get her back. Even made a deal with the enemy.

Wow. Angelfall is a rollercoaster of a book!
I really liked Penryn. She was tough and knew how to protect herself.
Raffe was a great character and I loved how he interacted with Penryn.
The plot was good and kept me gripped. The last 50 pages really made the book for me - they were packed with punches that just kept coming; when Penryn discovered what the angels had been up to I was horrified, especially at what they had been doing to the children.
The world that the author has created captures the imagination and is well thought out with some very twisted ideas.
I can't wait to read the next book!

Overall this was an enjoyable, unique read that I would definitely recommend.
