Review - Oblivion by Sasha Dawn

Title: Oblivion
Author: Sasha Dawn
Pages: 400
Release date: 27th May 2014
Publisher: Egmont USA

Blurb from Goodreads:

Two years ago, Callie was found in an abandoned apartment, scrawling words on the wall: "I KILLED HIM. His blood is on my hands. His heart is in my soul. I KILLED HIM." But she remembers nothing of that night or of the three previous days.  All she knows is that her father, the reverend at the Church of the Holy Promise, is missing, as is Hannah, a young girl from the parish. Their disappearances have to be connected and Callie knows that her father was not a righteous man.
But the more she remembers, the closer she comes to the horrifying truth. And when a good looking guy in school helps her to remember what she's buried for so long, she might wish she never dug up the past.

My Review:

*I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to Egmont USA and Sasha Dawn*

3/5 stars

Ever since the night two years ago when Calliope (Callie) Knowles was found in an abandoned apartment she has suffered from graphomania - obsessive compulsions to write.
Unable to remember the previous three days, Callie doesn't know how she got to the apartment, or where her father (the reverend at the Church of the Holy Promise) and Hannah (a girl from the parish) have disappeared to.
Will Callie ever remember what happened?

I found Callie's graphomania interesting and felt sorry for her when she was overcome by the compulsion to write.
Callie was an okay character and the plot was enjoyable but didn't grip me.

Overall this was a good read that I enjoyed.
