Wildest Dreams Unboxing - Love, YA

Wildest Dreams book box subsciption is a UK-based book box subscription that contains a YA book and several bookish goodies.

This month the theme was Love, YA.

Here's what was inside . . .

  

The book was Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli.

Leah was in Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda and this book deals with Leah struggling to tell her friends that she's bisexual.

The book also came with a bookmark.

This print features a quote from Leah on the Offbeat and was designed by @lost_in_a_story on Twitter.

The tea is inspired by Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda and is rich chocolate black tea. It is from Rosie Lea Tea.

There was also a packet of Oreos (yum!) and a candle from Taken Moons. The candle is vanilla cappucino scented (it smells amazing!) and was inspired by the upcoming novel What If It's Us? by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera.

This is my favourite box so far!

I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the next box!

Wildest Dreams Unboxing - Female Voices

The May Wildest Dreams theme was Female Voices.

Here's what was inside . . .

 

 Along with a summary of the contents of the box, there was a pack of ginger biscuits.

 This month's tea was chamomile and lemongrass flavoured.

It was chosen by Holly Bourne and came with some Holly Bourne swag and five teabags.

How awesome is this Bone Season-inspired soap?!

I love the colours and the soap is dusky sloe and almond scented.

The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon is one of my favourite series. 
This soap is so nice that I'm not sure I'll be able to bring myself to use it!

This is the first time I've guessed the book correctly, but I was very happy because I really want to read I Stop Somewhere. I nearly bought it a few weeks ago so it's a good job I didn't!

The themes and events that happen sound quite brutal so I don't think this book is one for the faint-hearted.

Along with the book there was a bookmark, a signed bookplate and a letter from the author.

Wildest Dreams Unboxing - Hocus Pocus

Wildest Dreams Unboxing!

Wildest Dreams is a UK-based YA book subscription box. 

This month the theme was Hocus Pocus!

Here's what was inside . . .

 

 The bath bomb is bubblegum scented, blue and pink. It is from Becky's Bath Bombs.

 The Border biscuits look yummy!

There were two choices of tea in the Hocus Pocus box. I got the Very Cherry one which sounds delicious!

It's from Rosie Lea Tea.

There's a The Witch's Tears bookmark and a The Witch's Blood postcard.

This month's book was The Witch's Blood (The Witch's Kiss, #3) by Katherine and Elizabeth Corr.

The book came with a signed bookplate and a letter from the authors.

Unfortunately, I read the first book when it came out and I didn't enjoy it, so I'm not bothered about reading The Witch's Blood.

I'll probably do a giveaway for it at some point.

Overall this was another lovely box, but I was slightly disappointed with the book. However, I'm excited to try the tea!

Wildest Dreams Unboxing - Family Ties

The Wildest Dreams book subscripton box is a UK-based suscription created by the lovely Zoe Collins.

The theme of the March box was Family Ties. 

Here's what was inside . . .

I love how Zoe wraps everything in lovely coloured tissue paper.

 The bath product in the box is an orange scented shower gel/bubble bath that is exclusive to Wildest Dreams and Weasley themed!

The tea is English breakfast tea and is based on the Carter family from The Hate U Give.

 

 The books are always wrapped in brown paper which I think is a lovely touch.

This month's book was Far from the Tree by Robin Benway.

I was so happy when I saw it was this book, because I wanted to read it as soon as I heard about it.

It follows Grace, who after giving up her own baby for adoption, searches for her biological family.

There was a letter from the author as well, which I always like to see/read. 

Included in the box was also a pack of tissues which I have a feeling I will definitely be needing when I read the book. 

As always, there was a letter detailing the contents of the box.

This was my second Wildest Dreams box and I can't wait for the next one which has the theme 'Hocus Pocus'.

 The boxes are £18 with free UK delivery, which I think is very good value.

Wildest Dreams Book Box Unboxing - Best of YA 2017

I was lucky enough to be one of the few people to get one of the first Wildest Dreams book boxes!

The theme was Best of YA 2017 and included in the box was:

a book (with a note from the author), a bath bomb, bookish tea, a bookmark (signed), and a postcard.

The book was The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed, which is about three girls who avenge the rape of a fellow classmate. 

I was worried that I would have the book included in this box seeing as it's the best of YA 2017, but luckily I don't :)

The bath bomb is from Geeky Clean. It's a sorting hat bath bomb, and when it melts in the bath it reveals what Hogwarts house you are in.

The tea is based on After the Fire by Will Hill, and is made by Rosie Lea Tea.

I'm not really a tea person but this is chocolate orange flavour which sounds yummy!

The bookmark and postcard are for Book of Fire by Michelle Kenney. The bookmark is signed.

Book of Fire is plugged as "Percy Jackson meets the Bone Season" but sounds interesting. I actually have an ARC of this which I haven't gotten around to reading yet :/

Overall I was very pleased with the Wildest Dreams book box.

The book sounds interesting, the tea looks yummy, the bath bomb smells really good and the bookish swag is nice.

I'm definitely keen to order another Wildest Dreams box. 
I would definitely recommend it!
 

The January theme is Into the Jungle.

I would have ordered one but I'm pretty sure that I have an ARC copy of the book that is included.
