In this post I am unboxing the latest FairyLoot subscription box - the Power Within July box.

If you don't want to see what's inside then don't scroll down!

Here's what was in the box...

A Sweet Black Waves postcard and a sticker which features a line from Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young. The sticker says "Ond Eldr" which means "Breathe Fire".

This exclusive Quidditch pen is from Team FairyLoot and is a mini broomstick! How cool is this!?

This room spray is from Geeky Clean and smells of lavender and books! It was inspired by Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch.

This print is of Zelie from Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. It's by Diana Worak and is gorgeous!

This exclusive magical mug changes colour when it gets hot! It features a quote from Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. It was designed by Little Inkling Designs.

This tea towel is exclusive and was designed by KDP Letters. It features a quote from And I Darken by Kiersten White. Unfortunately the print is back to front but FairyLoot are sending out replacements :)

The book was Heart of Thorns by Bree Barton and sounds like an awesome read. This edition is a FairyLoot exclusive and is signed by the author and has red sprayed pages. There is also a letter from the author and artwork of two characters in the novel, Mia and Quin, was was drawn by Noverantale.

Here's everything all together!

What do you think of the July box?
It's not one of my favourites but there are some cool items inside.

The June FairyLoot box's theme was Rebels in Ballgowns.

Here's what was inside!

This exclusive cushion cover was designed by Miss Phi and features a quote from Legendary by Stephanie Garber. I love the colours, the roses and the tarot cards.

This Sea Witch sampler is a poster on one side and also has an excerpt from the novel.
The exclusive iron-on patch was designed by Ink and Wonder and features a quote from The Selection by Kiera Cass.

The candle is an exclusive 'Corvere' candle from Geeky Clean. It was inspired by Nevernight by Jay Kristoff and smells of strawberries and pepper.
The masquerade mask necklace is from Team FairyLoot and is really pretty!

The magnetic bookmarks are exclusive and are characters from the Shatter Me books. They were designed by Taratjah Art.
The reading journal is exclusive and runs from July-December 2018. It was designed by FictionTea Designs and features art from Stella's Bookish Art. I'm really looking forward to using this.

This month's book is Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart.
This hardback is a FairyLoot exclusive - the standard UK edition is paperback and comes out at the end of July so FairyLoot subscribers got it a month early!
As usual the book came in a FairyLoot bag with a bookmark of the month's theme, as well as signed bookplate, a letter from the author and a postcard.
I'm looking forward to reading Grace and Fury - with sisters, rebellion and a ball, it sounds just up my street!

FairyLoot Unboxing - Whimsical Journeys

The April FairyLoot theme was Whimsical Journeys.

Here's what was inside . . .

This Narnia reusable coffee cup was designed by Ink and Wonder.
I love all the colours!

The notepad features a quote from The Darkest Minds and was designed by Little Inkling Designs.

The Blackjack enamel pin features Blackjack, Percy's pegasus in the Percy Jackson books. It was designed by Taratjah.

This Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them-inspired luggage tag was designed by Lovely Owl Books.

There's also an Ace of Shades badge/button.

The fictional places art print was designed by Fictiontea Designs.

There's also a bookmark for The Fates Divide.

The tote bag features a quote from The Hobbit and was designed by Stella's Bookish Art.
I love this tote bag! I'm definitely going to use this!

This candle made by Flick The Wick is themed around the book of the month and smells of sandalwood. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent, as it reminds me of Lynx, but I like that it matches the book of the month.

The book of the month was Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake. This copy has exclusive gold foiling and came with a letter from the author, a sticker and signed bookplate.
Beyond a Darkened Shore is a stand-alone and features Celtic and Norse mythology. I really like the sound of it.

Did you get the Whimsical Journeys box?

FairyLoot Unboxing - March - Memorable Moments

The March FairyLoot box was the two-year anniversary box (hence the purple instead of black) and had the theme Memorable Moments.

 Here's what was inside . . .

I love the Bilbo's Birthday Cake soap from Geeky Clean! It's vegan and is vanilla and strawberry scented. It's also glittery : )

There was also hot chocolate included (yum!). It is Game of Thrones themed and sounds delicious. It's made by Eponine. I can't wait to try it!

The candle is based on the Goblet of Fire and was made by Paper Flames Candle Co. It has blue swirls and smells of fresh bread and chocolate, which reminds me of nutella on toast : )

I had never heard of cork bunting before, so when I opened the box to find some I was pleasantly surprised. It's such an awesome idea and I can't wait to use it. It was made by Paladone and has five flags to pin things to.

An exclusive rune ceremony scarf was also included in the box. It was designed by FictionTea and has runes from ceremonies in Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter books.

There was also a The Belles bookmark and badge in the box.

This month the book was State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury.
This hardback edition is an exclusive to FairyLoot and came with a postcard, a signed bookplate and a letter from the author.
The book sounds really good and I liked the sampler I got from YALC last year.

This was another awesome box from FairyLoot and I'm really excited for the April box which has the theme Whimsical Journeys.
