Blurb from Goodreads:
When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the
Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she
expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been
reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.
And she really can’t imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe.
But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Seth from taking over the world.

2.5/5 stars
Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art
intending to try and decide what course to take at university. Her plans and
life are turned upside down when she comes across a young man, Amon, who turns
out to be from ancient Egypt and one of three brothers who rise every thousand
years to save the world.
Lily is swept up in Amon's quest and finds not only herself
but her heart in danger.
I love Egyptian mythology so I was really excited to read
Reawakened. I was, however, disappointed.
Lily was an okay protagonist. At times I liked her but there
were a lot of moments where she annoyed me - she goes on about how she's not
normally so reckless and that she never falls for guys far more than was
necessary.
The other characters were alright. I liked Amon and his
brothers and felt sorry for them.
The plot was okay. I enjoyed the book up until around half
way but then I got bored and skim-read the rest. Nothing happened that
surprised me, but I did like the mythology elements.
The writing style was easy to follow.
Overall this was an okay but slightly disappointing read.
