DNF at 7% - I couldn't bring myself to read anymore.

I really hate it when people rip books to shreds but this book and I, we did not get on.

This was one of those books that from the very beginning I did not like.
I just couldn't connect with the story. It was just so...  

The protagonist Joe was so annoying.
She made me want to so this...

Sixteen-year-old Nina Torres has a hard life: her mother is a prostitute and drug addict and her rich classmates hate her. But there is one light in her life - Isaac.

Then Nina's life is turned upside down when she is taken from her mother and she moves away changing her name.

Years later, Nina - now Irene - meets a handsome, blind man named Terrence. He reminds her of Isaac who she hasn't stopped thinking about. Can Irene (Nina) move on from Isaac?

This was a sweet book with likeable characters and a unique storyline.

I really enjoyed the first half of this but found my attention wavering throughout the second half.    

Overall this was a good unique book.
